Top notch experience. Best yet in buying a vehicle. (Worked with Erik)

The sales representative I worked with, Erik Swenson, is WONDERFUL, a really down-to-earth guy. He's fun and I felt like he truly listened and understood what I was looking for. In fact, for my next car, I will definitely go back to work with him, even though I was actually interested in another car that isn't carried by Valley Imports. Now I'm going to try to find something I really like at Valley, simply because Erik is so great to work with.

Like I have said in the previous comment sections our Volkswagen purchase with Kevin Schmidt and the financial team at Valley Imports was truly unique and the best experience with a car dealership we have ever had. I have already recommended them to numerous friends and co workers and will only buy Volkswagen products from this dealership from now on.

To put it in a nut shell - Gordy and all the staff at Valley Import are very personable and know us when we walk in the door from one purchase or service to another. When they call, they are always interested in what is going in our lives as much as to insure that all of our answers about the vehicles are being answered. The service team is on top of their game in notifications of all of our services and if we have any problems (so few) they take the time and help us. Thus, we consider the Valley Import staff as friends while other dealerships I have use in the past have workers

Kevin provided exceptional details of how the order process would go. He kept in touch with us throughout the entire process and the vehicle came in just as he said it would from the original order date. Kevin also spent a lot of time with us the day we picked up the Q7 to make sure we understood all the high tech options as well as all of the vehicle controls. Very well done. The best of any vehicle I have purchased.

The entire time I was working with Valley Imports I felt like the team listened to exactly what I wanted, made suggestions that fit what I needed and as a result they were able to find the EXACT Jetta that worked for me. I had actually been in the market to find a new vehicle for a few months but was looking at other dealerships. Each time I was completely frustrated and (quite frankly) disgusted with the process and the treatment I received. Then, a coworker suggest that I work with Valley Imports and I could not be happier with how things went. This was my first vehicle I have ever purchased and I felt like each person I worked with treated me with respect and answered my questions honestly and with integrity. I cannot give enough praise to the staff at Valley Imports. Dave Hawkinson exceeded my expectations as far as explaning the terms of sales and how payment was going to work. Because this was my first time buying a car (and really, the first major purchase I have ever made as a young adult) I was very nervous and unsure abour the process. Dave took his time to make sure I understood what was happening every step of the way! I really appreciated that.

I know that this sounds like a "put up job" for Valley Imports but Erik Swenson, our sales person, was as good of a representative for Mercedes as you could hope for. Looking for a new model with the features we needed was a tall order. He found the M class we wanted and delivered it to us in the best manner possible. We will recommending Erik as a salesman and returning to Valley imports for our service.

I love coming in to Valley Imports. Something about it just seems friendly, unlike some dealerships that are just out for a sale. I don't know how to explain it, but it's awesome. Keep up the great work!

I was very impressed with Valley Imports. The day after I picked up my 2012 GTI, I got a nail in one of the tires. I immediately drove it in to Jon Tommervik in Sales who I had worked with throughout my purchasing process. He brought me right back to the service department where they filled the hole and got me all set up with an appointment to bring the car back and have the tire replaced. I have NEVER been so well taken care of by a car dealership before. I will be recommending Valley Imports to all my family and friends! 1) I would like to thank VW engineering for making a great car. It doesn't break down and is very dependable. The quality and engineering is outstanding and I know that because I've owned five of them over my lifetime I will continue to purchase them as they make them affordable. 2) Valley City VW is an outstanding and exceptional facility. I don't expect to find another like it. The recent building addition has added to the professionalism and orderliness of expediting customer vehicles through the shop more quickly. 3) The two representatives I have worked with the most are Michelle and Zach. They have been exceptional to work with: a) I have asked questions or made inquiries about many things regarding my VW's over the past five years such as windshield wiper blades, retractable cup holders, battery life, type of oil one can use, tire pressure, mileage concerns and vehicle heating from a diesel in winter and they never brush off a question. b) They are the caliber of representative I would hire if I were operating a business. c) Every one of the individuals that have waited on me are patient, courteous, and demonstrate a willingness to satisfy customer questions and make a real effort to ensure that my questions and concerns are answered to my satisfaction. d) They demonstrate good people skills. They NEVER walk off while talking to a customer and make me feel like I am most important to them when visiting with them. They make the service maintenance experience a very pleasant one. I have no idea what they get paid, but they are worth every penny of it. e) Mechanics and service representatives are knowledgeable. When I have called Valley City VW on the phone or visited the service counter, each person I have dealt with makes a real effort to answer my question and if they don't have an answer, they call for assistance and don't make the customer feel like they are too busy for them. 4) I really like my car, but the personnel working in the service facility are a big part of that. I don't have to be concerned about having it tied up in a shop and wondering if I'm going to have to come back several times. 5) Valley City VW has a nice lounge area in which one can get water or pop while waiting. Thanks for the great service. It was easy to make an appointment and she was very friendly. John Arneson worked on my car and as usually he was amazing. He even got a petrified spider out of my headlight. Not sure how he did it but it was "bugging" us! Thanks

We received service that "was above and beyond" during a mechanical issue that occurred late on a Saturday. Michelle and her other service desk staff and the mechanic that stayed after hours to get our car fixed were exceptional.

The service at Valley Imports was terrific, as usual. The consultants are consistently friendly, welcoming and sincere. I especially appreciate the availability of Saturday appointments for oil changes and other maintenance/repairs, since I work long hours during the week! Thanks for your excellent service.
